Worship at Chester Park United Methodist Church, 9:00 Sunday, May 28

Pilgrim and other congregations join together for worship on the summer "bookend" holiday weekends.  This Memorial Day weekend the congregations will meet at Chester Park United Methodist Church, 819 N. 18th Avenue.  See you there!!!!

Pilgrim Seeks Choir Director

Pilgrim's Music staff is in transition.  After almost nine years of working together and with us, Velda Bell and Jack Bowman are each pursuing other opportunities.  Rachael Kresha will begin as Organist June 15.  We are seeking a choir director with experience in classical, sacred music repetoire and leading a choir of  experienced singers.  Other responsibilities of the music staff include directing a Handbell Choir, developing a music program for elementary school children, and community outreach.  The ability to provide service music on organ or piano will be considered a plus in a candidate.  Resumes should be sent to Music Search, Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2310 E. 4th Street, Duluth, MN 55812 or email to pilgrimcf@msn.com. 

Guatemala Fundraiser Rummage Sale May 5

There will be an all-church rummage sale on Saturday, May 5, 2012 to support a service learning trip to Common Hope in Antigua, Guatemala at the end of June. Common Hope promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala, partnering with children, families, and communities who work to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing.


The rummage sale will feature household goods, decorative and craft items and clothing for children to adults.
